Galatians 3
It is not a new thing-just as the
Galatians were captured by a spell. Many Christians today are caught under the
very same spell. The enemy will never change his tactics because far too many
of us continue to fall for his tactics. We read and we read that we are no
longer under the law; yet we are still very legalistic. The law will never win
a lost soul to JESUS and the law will never keep our dearly loved brother and
sister in CHRIST JESUS. As a matter of fact it’s us that drive out our beloved
brothers and sisters away from attending church because of legalism and
judging. The LORD JESUS deals with us through grace and mercy and we are to do
the very same. Did the law save you or was it what you heard in the Good News
about JESUS that saved you? We are powerless against sin; the Holy Spirit is
powerful and the goal is always the LORD CHRIST JESUS. The FATHER supplies the
Holy Spirit who works signs and miracles through mankind. Is it done because
you obey the Ten Commandments and the law or trust and have faith to the
promise? We all have an account; when faith is deposited it is credited for us as
righteousness-that’s our return. He believed in Adonai, [the LORD GOD] and HE
credited it to him as righteousness. {Gen. 15:6 CJB}
True children of Abraham trust and
are faithful in the LORD JESUS; Abraham has children all over this great
planet. “and by you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”{Gen.12:3}
Trusting and being faithful causes us
to be partakers of Abraham’s blessing. If anyone desires to continue in
trusting and having faith in the Ten Commandments and the law you are cursed. “A
curse on anyone who does not confirm the words of this Torah (book of the law) by
putting them into practice.” All the people are to say, ‘Amen!’ [Deuteronomy
27:26 CJB]
No one is righteous by the LORD GOD
in legalism. “Look at the proud: he is inwardly not upright; but the righteous
will attain life through trusting faithfulness. {Habakkuk 2:4}; “There is no
one righteous, not even one! No one understands, (Romans 3:10 CJB)
Those who are righteous attain life
by trusting and being faithful in the LORD CHRIST JESUS. Legalism is not based
on trusting and faithfulness on the misuse of the following text. You are to observe my laws and rulings; if a
person does them, he will have life through them; I am Adonai [the LORD GOD] {Leviticus
18:5 CJB}
JESUS redeemed us from the curse of
the law. JESUS is the promised seed of Abraham. “I am establishing MY covenant
between ME and you, along with your descendants after you, generation after
generation, as an everlasting covenant, to be GOD for you and for your
descendants after you. (Genesis 17:7 CJB)
I have an observation and a question
for those of you who want to hold on to the Ten Commandments and the law so
tightly. The Ten Commandments came four hundred and thirty years [430] after
Abraham and yet the LORD GOD credited him to be a righteous man and gave him
the promise. What was his faith and trust in righteousness based on if he did
not have the Ten Commandments and the law? Abraham trusted and was faithful to
the LORD GOD concerning anything and all things that the LORD GOD spoke to him
about; especially the LORD JESUS. The Ten Commandments and law was to show our
need for a Savior-no one was or is able to keep the entire law or Ten
Commandments. The legal part was not able to provide life then or now; if it
was all mankind would be righteous in them. No one is righteous apart from the
LORD CHRIST JESUS; we are imprisoned in subjection to the system from
perverting the commandments and the law. The commandments and law acted as a
custodian until JESUS came. Although JESUS has already come and abolished the
works of the law; many are still under the commandments and law because they have
not yet invited JESUS to be the LORD and Savior of their lives. Then and only
then will people become children of the most high GOD. We must have pure trust
and faith in HIS SON; the LORD JESUS. We are all one in the LORD JESUS we are
not male or female; we are Abrahams heirs according to the promise that the
LORD GOD gave to Abraham. http://amfbem.me
